Chocolate Mousse | Desserts | Caveman Keto

For more info check out this post http://cavemanketo.com/2013/02/16/chocolate-strawberry-mousse/

Chocolate Mousse is my go to keto dessert because of its speed and simplicity. Just grab some cream and whip it! You can customize it with chocolate protein powder, add some fruit, or even add some liquor to make an adult dessert!

Nice video! KETO IS THE TRUTH! Best way to lose fat. I just made a video about a really good low calorie keto meal on my channel, since I love it. Anyway, keep up the posting!

    – 80 ml heavy cream
    – stevia for sweet flavour
    – 1/2 scoop chocolate whey protein powder (presumably no carb variety)
    – 1/8 ( same protein scoop) of Unsweetened Cocoa
    – 85-90% dark chocolate (probably Lindt)

    Cheers

A little bit of instant coffee would put this over the top!

Is this definitely 1/3 cup? I've tried measuring it out and it is nowhere as near in proportion to that on the video…

  8. Hello, I notice you said you could leave out one of the powders if you want lower carb. Do you compensate for the loss, i.e., it you only use cocoa powder do you increase the amount to include the loss from the protein powder? Also, do you think vanilla protein powder would work? Thank you.

Any thoughts on how this would do with an immersion blender instead of hand mixer?

If you don't want protein powder use coco powder and vanilla.

Made this with low carb protein powder (3g) peanut butter cookie flavor ( made by metabolic) with a 1/4 tea spoon of coco powder. It was fantastic my husband stole it from me. Tasted like a peanut butter cup

How is that keto? The whipping cream? The protien powder? Does that stop keto adaption?

Are there any stores that carry ez sweets, or would I have to order it offline? Also a list of ingredients at the beginning or end of the videos would be helpful, or in the description.

You could use more chocolate powder, I suppose, but that would make it more calories and slightly more carbs, and also make it more bitter. I tried to use more powdered chocolate and less protein powder once and it was bitter and not sweet enough. Then I remembered that my protein powder (syntrax nectar chocolate truffle) had a sweetener in it too. duh! It might be better if I added more sweetener, but I just make it with the protein powder from now on.
